Gamefreak's been avoiding giving a full damn with less and less things and contents to the game, after they changed officially the work model for the games, as said on that interview from the E3, before Sw/Sh were released. Hm? You say that wasn't said before? What did you understood when Masuda was addressing that?
Voice your complaints and exemplify ALL the mistakes of the games, and claim you want a proper, "finished" product (although it's gonna be impossible on these years with DLC and "we'll patch it later", like the typhlo raid broken beyond shit)
Then there's the poke-tubers. Hold them accountable for the horrible shit they lobbied for gamefreak; that's gonna be an uphill battle, but shits like Joe, Adrive, Callum, Duncan the groomer and so on, have to be held accountable and recognize they sold themselves like dogs for low-quality slop products.
Give constructive criticism and how can it be fixed, as well as detail how GF itself betrayed their own 3 principles on which the game was founded (trade, collect, battle), so that paid shits and imbecile poke-tubers have no argument to actually discuss. But mostly, do it with constructive criticism, so that they can't also use the "muh offended feewings" card with you, and discard their opinions immediately.
Eventually, if the things are exposed to the sun enough, something will happen, but it's not gonna happen immediately, and much less with the "success" numbers they have now, and the lobbyists defending it.
In good hands, and hands that care, ANY franchise can prosper. The hands of Gamefreak (especially Masuda and Ishihara), aren't hands that care at all for Pokemon. Fuck. Them.
