Speaking on obtaining Pokemon through dubious means, I'm currently obsessed with completing the National Pokedexes in each of the games as legitimately as possible, and this is my current plan for gens 1, 2, and 3:
>Pick Kabuto, use the Mew glitch to encounter an Omanyte and catch it
>Use the Mew glitch to catch Mew, use the 8H glitch to change its OT and ID to the GF distribution so it can pass through Bank (possibly replace it with a My Pokemon Ranch Mew?)
>Trade the RBY exclusives up to Crystal, complete the Pokedex there
>Can catch Celebi legitimately because Gamefreak enabled the GS Ball event in VC Crystal
>Gen 3, complete the Hoenn Pokedex on Emerald and trade in Pokemon from Sapphire, Colosseum, FireRed, LeafGreen, and Gale of Darkness
>Use an R4 to flash the distribution cart ROM for the AuroraTicket to some random GBA game (probably Naruto: Ninja Council) and use that to distribute the AuroraTicket to my LeafGreen game for Deoxys
>Can do the same for the MysticTicket but unnecessary because of Colosseum and Gale of Darkness
>Flash a JP ROM of Emerald to the cart with the Old Sea Map and use that to mix records with my legitimate Emerald cart for Mew, or flash the Mew giveaway save and distribute a Mew to my game
>Can get Jirachi legitimately from the Colosseum bonus disc
I dunno what to do about Celebi beyond emulating the JP Colosseum bonus disc on Wii or some shit, that's the one I'm confused on at the moment. Any advice?
