You like the idea of sneeking up on a pokemon and just throwing a pokeball and catching pokemon? You will will love this type of game. Love the idea of scrounging around to get materials to make pokeballs/items? This game will not disappoint.
Is it a bit long as far as catching, raising, and doing all the goofy pokedex stuff? Yeah. However best part of the game is the glitches and exploits. Shiny hunting is too easy in the game, but that can be a good thing and means that if you have a favorite pokemon in the game, there is an excellent chance to get that pokemon shiny with good stats.
