It has it's moments but there is fuck all to do in it. It's the only Pokemon game I put down the moment I was done. Which is ironic, I guess, as I still rank it higher than SS.

Agreed. SV is a very flawed entry, but it is a step in a good direction. Just needs some QoL + postgame facilities to at least be on par with the other 3D entries; shame that it has to come in the form of paid DLC. Still, it is wildly superior to SwSh, especially if we’re comparing base games.

I did as well
It's a step up from SWSH and while it took some stuff from PLA and improved upon them, I feel that some of the traditional pokemon stuff held it back.
I enjoyed the plot, the characters, the new designs especially coming in blind as I could.
It's a shame the game is still unpolished and plagued with even more performance issues but I'm glad that the design has been improved cause SWSH was ridiculous over a simple basic bitch of a game.
The future of pokemon, given both the reception of PLA and SV is definitely going to be positive.
I look forward to the DLC.

I like what it did to refine the gameplay and almost all the new mons are great. But they should’ve gave it more time to iron out the blatant issues, it’ll be remembered for the choppiness and bugs beyond everything it did right, though.

No real Pokemon fan think SV are bad. The technical issues are unforgivable, sure, but that doesn't make those games bad pokémon games.

There weren't any stakes, everything seemed way too fake.
The forced mountmon is cringe, should have let me ride anything.
Character customization was a bit too tranny.
Otherwise a decent game, better than XY.
