Cool team, how is Persian doing? Never used the Kantonian version before.

This is my Blazing Emerald team right after Slateport. Going for all Rock/Ground/Steel eventually since the regional Eelectross gets a sandstorm ability.

Persian is the only Pokemon on my team that knows dark moves so it's useful against Psychic types. Its stats aren't great but it knows Screech, which when combined with its high speed has been helpful offensively.
Using Pay Day is just so much fun. Sometimes you earn more money from using Pay Day than from the battle.

Doing a solo run of Omega Ruby, since I want to replay it but actually have some sort of challenge. Also choosing to use a Shiny Deino I hunted since I love Hydreigon but never got to use one before.

I was originally going to do an all cat team in Scarlet, but there's not really six cat lines that I can use without having at least one Eevee, so I went with a dog team instead. The biggest issue I have so far is trying to figure out movesets that don't overlap too much, since they all learn similar moves from TMs, but there's some niche moves like Sludge Bomb on Houndoom and Dragon Pulse on Arcanine to vary things up a bit. Planning to use Dachsbun as a sort of cleric/Baton Passer since it's the weakest one but gets Wish.

I thought about doing an all bird run too since there's a lot of birdmons with varied types. I haven't used a good portion of them before ever, so it would be fun to use Oricorio-Sensu for example alongside Flamigo and Kilowattrel. There's actually more than 6 I want to use too, so I could even swap them around a bit for variety.

Current Inclement Emerald Team + the backups for constant team cycling. My current party might be what I take to the E4 but that depends on how I feel on Minior. Also please applaud my Scrafty for carrying me through the twins. I was not expecting an inverse battle.

Just chilling in the post-game catching mons for fun currently, will hunt legendaries with Looker later and battle Red and Ghetsis (again)
Despite being a glass cannon, Seviper was really important in most of the E4 fights, in fact he did so much more than I initially expected lol

First guy here. I think it's fun. I play with sound off, so didn't notice the music, otherwise there are a few questionable moments (having one custom gym leader is weird) but adds a lot of good content to the solid base of Hoenn.

Still playing Y. Having a pretty hard time with coverage and physical defense right now but I defeated Lysandre and am up to Wulfric. Usually when I play I'll have one or two uncommon pokemon that'll surpass my expectations and end up being really good but everyone here has been playing basically exactly as I thought they would. I finally broke down and had to look up the location of some TMs so Beedrill can put up a fight. Beating Lysandre would have been easy if he'd had x-scissor at the time. Vespiquen has been the best so far, but Aurorus has made a decent showing of itself, even tanked an iron head from Lysandre's gyarados in the first fight.
Sableye is okay. I need to edit its EVs and dump more into attack and defense. When I caught it I'd forgotten its mega is only in ORAS so I have no mega. Not going back and finding one to train either 'cause it'll just end up being garchomp.

If you're using Persian as an offensive weapon instead for support, then you are using it wrong. Mons with high speed are usually good at supporting roles.
I love using it so far. It has been really helpful with its Screech, which makes it easier for other Pokemon when I switch out, and I taught it Substitute for defensive coverage. Plus you have plenty of TMs for its lackluster movepool. I taught it Secret Power for a good STAB move early on and it was really helpful.

I'm having more issues with moves at the moment than stats, since their movesets overlap a ton. Dachsbun is probably the weakest of them since offensively it's the weakest and I haven't gotten support options on it yet besides Baton Pass and Work Up. It actually doesn't get any boosting moves besides Agility and Work Up, and Work Up is too slow to really use. I thought about Substitute and Wish as well. At the moment, I'm trying to vary up movesets where I can. I want to get Sludge Bomb on Houndoom before I take on the Fairy squad, and I have Iron Head on Lycanroc. Houndoom and Lycanroc are probably the frailest ones though, but I'm planning to EV Houndstone's bulk so that I can use it as a last resort with Last Respects. It makes a good trump card, and I managed to one-shot Dodonzo and Tatsugiri with the team in the mid 40s by letting everyone faint so Last Respects can power up. I have used Mabosstiff the least so far, as I haven't found a niche for it move-wise, but I'm planning to get Ice and Psychic Fangs to have that coverage. It's a pretty fun team, though.

Sometimes, other times it does nothing. NPCs are pretty dumb, so it's a free win against ones that can't touch it, but it'll also go down immediately to a pokemon that can hit it.
I will have to drop it enevtually since I'm going fir a Sandstorm team, but until then it's helpful for a cheap win or the occasional item spam tank.

Yeah his stats were way lower than some of the other party members. I really wish he learned Leaf Blade leveling up but, Sunny Day + Solar Beam is always fun.

Playing Emerald, doing a team of Johto pokemon.
Currently I have a level 25 Gloom and level 18 Azumarill that will eventually be replaced by Kingdra. I skipped Brawly so I can come back with Skarmory and Slugma. So right now I only have 1 badge and I'm about to fight Wattson.
