>>53682792>those specific scans were from the Nintendo Power guideHe said "from" as in "originated from," which is wrong. If he'd said "as seen in" the guide there'd be literally no argument, but that's not what he said. He said "first used," and that's wrong.
Also like I said, I have no idea where Bulbapedia's scans specifically came from, whether it was that guide or not, and I really don't care because that's not what my argument is about.
>we should be celebratingMy firstpost in the thread is that he himself has been trying to make it a "controversy" from the beginning and it's obnoxious. He didn't just come in with some super awesome discovery and then mean anons just freaked out for no reason; he started out being an asshole and making something potentially interesting some obnxious culture war bullshit through his inaccurate presentation of it and overall shitty attitude.
>obsessed with saying he was crying racismLike I said, he didn't say that directly and I was kinda wrong or at least hyperbolic in claiming that because he didn't as far as I'm aware, keeping in mind I checked out on searching for his posts like 2 days ago.
But he is definitely using specific language/arguments that'd set his simps/followers up to easily dismiss anyone criticizing him as some possibly racist or uninformed nostalgiafag, by saying shit implying those scans existed only in an American player's guide and thus implicitly blaming stupid localizers in the west and the nostalgic manchildren who support them, despite there being tangible evidence that those colors/scans came from the Japanese side.
