It's going to take a lot of convincing that Hisuian Avalugg wasn't Game Freak being spiteful.

Honestly Frisk is the issue. Infernal Parade seems amazing in theory(lovechild of Hex and Scald) but the ability doesn't really elevate the move to be worthwhile compared to Scrappy + Triple Arrow and Sharpness + Ceaseless Edge. Either Serene Grace or Technician would help it immensely

Alolan Exeggutor is one of my favorite Alolan Pokemon just because of how hilarious it looks.
Alolan Wheezing is awesome.

If we allow evos that didn't exist ont op of the new base variant change:
Alolan Corsola is amazing as well as its evo but I did admittedly like OG Corsola even if I didn't care to ever use it.
Hisuian Basculin also redeemed that Pokemon thanks to Basculegion. Basculegion is carrying that Pokemon's existence on its back.

It’s not fast or bulky enough to get mileage out of infernal parade yeah. Best hex users are either fast like Dragapult or Gengar who can pressure switches + sub, or bulky like Lunala or Skeledirge where staying in against them is basically handing your opponent free turns. As it stands right now, it’s a worse Chandelure which is itself a worse Blacephalon.

Infernal Parade would need to have either a 100% burn chance or 90 base power (or both) to make H!Typhlosion even worth considering over any of its contemporaries, it's just too slow and frail to justify it as-is
