Explain why Cogita has a copy of Heath's book then. The paradoxes had to exist for Heath to see and write about them, which is the very point of them being paradoxes - they shouldn't exist, at any point in time, but here they are.

I don't have a dog in your fight, I couldn't give a shit how the paradoxes arrived in Area Zero. But I don't ignore when the devs intend to make a reference, as I adore world building between and across games. And this my friend is world building - showing how Heath's account of the expedition travelled as far as Hisui within 100 years of its first edition publishing.
