If they refuse to give us a battle frontier or anything similar in the modern games, they could at least start making stadium-type games again.
It'll never happen, but imagine a stadium-like game with every generational battle gimmick, complete with toggles to enable or disable them. triple battles, rotation, inverse, sky, battle royal, megas, z moves, dynamax, and terastalization all in one big official battle sim game. Complete with minigames, old and new where you can use your own pokemon. It's a crazy ass pipe dream, but goddammit, that's what I want.
