Besides honey trees and being a bit slower than the other games I'd say Platinum does everything fine at worst. Gen 4 has some pretty autistic haters but I can't for the life of me see what it is that offends them so badly. One meme that has caught on recently is the bag speed. Using the bag in Pokemon games is such an easy and quick thing to do that I've barely even registered it, but recently one or two anons have decided that Platinum's bag is just "too slow". Where did they even get this nitpick from, did they time bag scrolling speeds? How much time are they losing with Platinum's bag compared to previous games? Has to be a few seconds at most.
Hoennfags and Kalosfags also exhibit the strangest behavior when criticizing Platinum. Hoennfags call Sinnoh a ripoff of Hoenn, Kalosfags practically call XY a ripoff of Sinnoh games and therefore it's wrong to insult XY because they instantly assume everyone is a Sinnohfag. No other gen gets these shameless attempts to discredit it and rob its work for another gen's benefit.
