Ultra = good
Great first tier = mediocre

After replaying ORAS, I'm comfortable with it being above X and Y.
But I think X and Y are the worst games in the series before SV and SwSh so it needs to be lower.

You're right, there are no masterpieces. The best of these are/8/10. Gen 1 games should be in the bottom, they only have nostalgia going for them, and ORAS and USUM should be in the first great tier.
