And they went and gave it a regional form just 6 years after introducing it to the series, instead of meganium, Sceptile or Serperior.
The internet crying "buh-buh-buh-but I LIEK IT REEEEE" doesn't make it authentically popular either. And that's why you look at how the rest of the franchise treats the thing overall. And they turned it into a buttmonkey that got beaten by its unevolved form cold.
