Ok I will first just admit that yes, I am an Unovabortion (19 y/o) but I really just want to know why everyone hates Gen 5 so much? It has

>amazing sprite art before it turnt 3d soulless
>all the Pokémon
>great characters
>tons of content like side shit you probably wouldn't even have known about to this day
>great postgame, being able to fight past trainers from all the regions in a big tourney, a battle frontier, legendaries, etc
The only complaint I see is that the designs (yes I will admit some are corny) and not being able to catch past gen mons til end game in bw (but that is the first BW... and why does it matter a lot?)
Why are these such hated games by you all? My favourite region isn't even Unova it's Johto but all I seem to see is Gen 5 shat on by everyone, by genwunners or by people who grew with up Gen 3 or Gen 4, even some fans that like Gen 7 and 8. All of them seem to hate Gen 5.
