>>53736747It's an oversaturated market, so to have any expectations outside of doing it for yourself is going about it wrong.
>cut out the bullshitNobody wants to see you take 5 hours to get through an area or whatever the fuck. Clip the best/most important parts together during those sequences.
>get to the fucking pointNobody wants to sit through an autist stumbling around at the start of a video for a few minutes. Say who the fuck you are or whatever you do for your intros, and get the fuck on with it. Those first 30 seconds are unironically the most important for the sake of engagement.
>thumbnails and titleschugga is grandfathered in to getting thousands of views, so he's an exception, but you should create "catchy" titles. Some people go the extreme and do click baity shit, but you could do what chugga does now and come up with a unique title and then follow it up with the game name. Thumbnails also matter. You again can go the extreme route and photoshop soi faces onto yourself or whoever, but interesting shots of gameplay with some text usually is enough to grab randos' attention.
These are just some generic things off the top of my head. It'd be better if you actually posted a video, but I can understand why you wouldn't want to.
