>>53700876>Bears have clawsHow is attacking with them any better than how Samurott attacks?
>beak blocked by dumb tusks that are facing the wrong wayThe beak being blocked is fine, as the tusks replace the need for a weapon, so the beak is just a mouth for consumption
>facing the wrong wayHave you seen an axe? Anyway, you clearly imagine Pokemon as having the turnaround time for an attack to be in a human order of magnitude. I'm really not trying to insult you, but it's easy to forget that animals can move EXTREMELY fucking faster than humans from a state of standing still just milliseconds ago. Imagine a snake lunging, a bear swiping, a ram charging, and a giraffe kicking or swinging its neck at its competitor male. These happen lightning fast and Haxorus could probably do the same by swinging his blade across if he were real. Game animations just hate edginess, so they never reflect this. Ursaluna charging would look infinitely cooler if they cared about fully fleshing out how each mon can move within the rules of its design.
