I came back to the Anime after 20+ years just to watch this shit. All I wanted were well animated battles and couldn't even get that. I dropped after Alain vs Diantha, didn't even give a shit anymore by Ash Cynthia.
I thought that since this was the single biggest moment in the Anime’s entire history, they would've tried to make something worthwhile. I've seen clips from the Kalos season, I know they are better than whatever this garbage was.

The Lesson was learned and I will never watch this show ever again. I shouldn't have wasted my time.

nope, her full power is Mega Chomp + another dynamax. 2 power-ups at once. She only used one.

Ash can probably still beat her using all 3-4 of his PUs (plus plot armor), but he never actually did it on screen (unlike with Steven and Leon)
Hence FP Cynthia and Mega Chomp now remain undefeated .. forever

You can say that all you want but it was the latest region and the anime had the chance to actually expand on it but instead, just ignored it for more Kanto pandering to the point that we only ever saw a handful of locations while every other region has been explored in full. There’s no fucking excuse for that
