>>53701982I actually really liked her. Never really felt interested in any of the rival characters since like Hugh and Barry. Nemona is a breath of fresh air in comparison to all the mediocre shit between 6 and 8 and feels like she's got a real personality that isn't just "Oh ahaha I lost, darn! Haha! Here's a bunch of Revives!"
She's got big sister energy, she wants nothing more than to see you succeed and be the best version of yourself, and I personally enjoy that trope. But in terms of gameplay it got a little stale battling her so often. There was hardly any time to spend around Nemona unless you actively did the classes during your adventure, which I totally didn't, so I missed out until post game, where a lot of the novelty and immersion kinda wore off. Overall, she's great. Just wish there was more to how she interacts with the player besides just battling, even if there's nothing inherently wrong or unusual about a character or person having a hyper-fixation on what they enjoy.
