Like seriously they just stopped making spinoffs. What the fuck is their problem?

I don't think they have a choice. They have to coordinate new gens coming out with the anime and the merchandise, which is what actually makes all the money for TPC.
I feel if GF were the ones behind the schedule they would actually at least delay the games when they are so obviously not finished.

Anon, it's the games and GF making new pokemon, regions and characters that determine that. Not the other way around.
Merch will always make the most money because there's naturally more of it and they can charge more depending on what it is, like that $400 wailord plush.
Not to mention a delay wouldn't change much since they could just make original merch like the TCG had new kinds of cards see: delta, break, and the pair cards.

Which we've seen in the past even after TPC was made with DP.
GF are just incompetent.
