I don't care about "difficulty" per say. I just want competently designed jrpg experience because that's where roots of Pokemon are and for what its mechanics are designed for. It's a damn travesty that games with mechanics depth-wise on par with something like SaGa series are dragged down and stripped out of complexity because bunch of onions-addicted faggots feel entitled to buy and "complete" every game.
