Still a bit left, after completing Area Zero's story you need to win the Academy Tournament and to start that it will require you to win the 8 Gym Rematches. The next step after winning the tournament is conquering 10 raids of difficulty 4 or higher, this unlocks your daily 6 star raid plus 7 stars whenever they are available

Is Academy Tournament like the Battle Tower or something with fully EV and IV teams? Like whats your reward if they took out BP and made battle items available to buy with money

Nah, the Academy Tournament is a small tourney with 8 participants (you included). Participants are faculty members and your friends with level 65 full teams, you do get rewarded a random item from an item pool if you win your 4 rounds but people mostly use it to farm money with an Amulet Coin

Of course but itll take a couple days. You dont have to catch them though
And any excess Coins you collect can be picked up by a guy in the normal gym city (i swear i cant remember any names of trainers or cities this gen) after you use up the 999 to evolve Ghimighoul

Yeah, all Tera Raids are 100% catch rate if successfully defeated. I could have used a Beast Ball or any of the Apriballs but chose Luxury in the end because it helps bring out the blacks in Inteleon and fits it thematically as well.

Can you believe how fucking backwards they went with EV training this gen?
Xy and sun had horde and sos and it was so simple with sweet scent, you could be done in 5 minutes
Now i have to watch a 10 minute cutscene eating a sandwich and fight them individually on a map where pop in is crazy

This was actually my first organic shiny in Violet, and caught it just as I left the Academy for the first time.

It's even hyper trained and everything...
