He’s not bad. It was UU in the first 2 gens it was in. Power creep is the enemy. I’d say give it buffed wild charge and some other moves to benefit from rock head.

Does Nidoking and Rhydon need Dragon-typing too, then? They're kaiju-mons, not dragons.

Steel/Ground would be better. The current Steel/Rock has 4x weakness to Fighting AND Ground.

Aggron has 4 problems besides its horrific defensive typing.

1. It can't survive even neutral special hits
2. It's slow with no priority
3. It doesn't hit hard without a choice band and can't boost damage
4.180 base defense that only tanks birds and bugs

The typing is great offensively though, so just lean into it

Hp: 70 -> 90
Atk: 110 -> 130
Def: 180 -< 140
SpAtk: 60 -< 50
SpDef: 60 -> 75
Speed: 50 - 50

Shift Gear or Accelerock, it needs one of them.
It should have at least 90 base hp and 130 base attack.
