Meowscarada's "mask" is just how the fur on her face it. SHE CANNOT TAKE IT OFF. it is not an actual mask, stop posting art of her treating it like a mask.

The Pokemon Company has stated multiple times that what often looks like clothes are often part of a Pokemon body. I'm pretty sure the "mask" has visible eyelids when it closes it's eyes.

Pretty sure there are simple technologies that allow mask move with your facial expression and eyelid movement. Besides, the cat is magician, I can come up with a thought that you may think it's part of her face, but turns out she can take it off.
Also, "often" doesn't mean "always".

If it takes it off you are literally ripping it's face off. They modeled the eyelids as part of the "mask" to show it isn't an actual mask.

The mask could be made of sticky film or other material that you can take off without damaging fur or skin.
As for modeling - how would you know? Did you work on it? Do you know what they had in mind when they were modeling it? They can say that it doesn't matter, and claim that mask can be taken off.

Look at Sawk foot, it's fused to the karate "outfit" to showcase that it's not actually wearing one. You can't take of the "gi" without skinning Sawk. In the same vain you would have to rip off meowscarada face to take off the mask. Just as sawk fused foot so did they make it so that meowscarada closes it's eye with the "mask".

Sawk and Throh are a particularly odd case, since the belt is apparently made of vines. The weird "distinction between clothes and things that just look like clothes on a fighting type" continues with Machamp, the belt is something that it can take off (and it's muscles may or may not be ripped apart by it's own strength without it), but the thing that looks like a speedo is in fact just black markings.

I'm ok with the idea that she can sleep with mask on but it looks uncomfortable af. Not sure about other daily activities or inordinary ones where mask would not fit for her or cause troubles, they would have kept that in mind.

Again, you brought an example (from the realistic film for some reason), and yet Meowscarada can be an exception to the rule.

I hope anime at least gets a green light to show us Meowscarada with mask off, and I hope there will be dark green leaf-shaped fur on her.

TPC is WRONG. They said Machamp's belt was skin, but their official website's Machamp pages say it's a belt. TPC is a soulless company which just regurgitates marketing guidelines. They don't actually know the lore.

I just noticed there is light green fur around her eyes. Not sure if this also could be in favor that mask can be taken off, but I lean to yes.
Bad part of this is that it's not dark green fur like on Sprigatito or Floragato.
SV was too rushed. Or it was laziness/inattention to details.

It can't take it off because it's not a real mask. There's a reason details like Sawk foot being part of the "gi" and Meowscarada eyelids being part of the mask are there and also as to why the official website also said that Machoke's speedo is just black skin markings.
