I have to admit, that does make me sad. The inspirations and designs for both concepts were great, and would have done an excellent job of representing the Paradoxes as a whole. With regard to either of the leading theories, they would have been real and proper pinnacles.

They're classed like UB's now, outside the legendary tiers. Functionally, they're exactly the same as what UB's were and likely equated to sub-legends in-code.
And they get you shiny hunt the UB's in USM. Indigo Disk is what would have been TeraScarlet/TeraViolet on 3DS and older, the rehash to the new game. They don't let you hunt gift 'mons, but these aren't gifts.

Congrats on being a short-sighted, simpleton retard, thinking that kind of comment could wound me. that's what you fucking ignore - this series is aimed at kids, as adding a leggo hunt, with shiny chance at the end-of-life of the lead pair helps keep engagement in kids that give a fuck (because not every kid buys or gets gifted further titles in a Gen, else further titles would see sales as high as the lead pair generationally). Occulture wrote 3 different magazines based on the fused sword/beast in the area zero book then the professor imagined them based on how they were represented in those magazines.

There was that one in Black 2 that was shiny huntable due to an error iirc, Kyurem, but HOME still recognizes it as a legal pokemon.
There are also others that can be shiny hunted and are considered legit

Says who? Keldeo is explicitly an “other” in that it’s their adopted protégée, so whilst it can usually appear with them they can also have it absent for something similar.

Keldeo’s Pokédex entries even imply it used to be a species before it was wiped to near extinction or down to the single specimen (depending on whether you believe there’s one or more)
