It's still Sinnoh, which is one of the most boring regions, and gen 4, which means most of the old game problems that got fixed in 5+ but with extra slow gameplay compared to 1-3.
Otherwise HGSS are a strong contender for similar reasons, Johto fans have spent decades pushing their nostalgia as objective and than everyone else's, and their crash back to reality has just started, it's going to be a messy few years in the immediate future, probably even worse than the genwunner collapse from a few gens ago.
