Nintendo (Japan), Creatures and Game Freak own Pokémon, including TPC (which owns TPCi). Nintendo (Japan) own the master trademarks to the whole kit and caboodle on top (so own less of the IP as a whole overall, with GF owning something like 35-40%). NoA are a US-based subsidiary of Nintendo (Japan), who's sole fucntion is market and promote Nintendo interests in the US. They don't have an IP folder, don't develop games for release or publish them in contrast to Nintendo Japan.
There's no scenario where you get a reboot pokémon that focuses on your decrepit arse, because even if the IP was up for sale, the buyers absolutely WOULD keep the kiddy bent and air to the shit, to keep the golden goose laying fucking golden eggs to generate $5B+ every three years (or worse, maybe next cunts would churn out new Gens yearly).
