VERY low end of usable

It does the same thing as all the other grass types in gens 1-2 with no coverage moves: kill water/ground/rock types. The others in that list are shit but sunflora at least has the power for KOs

The thing is, Wobbuffet is useless if it's on your team but if you're fighting against one it's a nightmare. Use Counter to deflect a status move and it doesn't work. But your opponent mirror coats your Draco Meteor back at your Rayquaza, it's like KABOOOOOOOM!!!!!

Yanma is worse than Delibird.
Ariados is quite possibly the worst early bug ever(Yanma arrives too late to compete), Ledian can at least put up screens.

That was most Bug types before Gen 3.

Poison was such a shit type offensively it didn't matter. Hell, Poison was ONLY good against grass which Crobat's Flying type already takes care of.

In a run of Crystal where I just caught six mons, used them equally, and didn't grind, Wobbuffet was how I beat Red. The rest of my team died horribly, but Wobbly made the enemy suffer. It also beat the shit out of a lot of gym leaders along the way.

It isn't. Delibird needs TMs just to not have a chance to hurt itself, and you need to wait until after 7 gyms just to get it in the first place and level it up to speed with your other mons.
And Ariados is fine.

Fly utility is also better than Yanma's entire existence, so even an inlevelse Delibird is better than Yanma.
