It's technically possible to get the same trainer ID as the traded mon, but I doubt anyone would have figured that out prior to gen 2.

In Yellow I think wild Jynx were available in Seafoam Islands, and in Japanese Blue they were maybe also in Cerulean Cave or something.

Okay got it slightly wrong: in Japanese Blue Jynx were in Seafoam Islands, but seems like that was it. So apparently only Japanese players could get wild Jynx in Gen 1.
