Its a mid water/ice type being bad at what both types do best. I used to think it's signature move was aurora beam, or maybe it used to be but its not anymore. It is perfect for a gen 1 gym leader, its a weird type with ample hp.

2/10 would never use on a team

I never understood why everyone gets so mad at Seel and Dewgong because of their english names.
They're cute as hell, you'd think the community would eat it up but I guess not...

A forsaken child of gen 1.
Not great in gen 1, has never gotten any kind of real buff or support, has that gen 1 tacular water/ice typing that's kinda shit.

I can't say it did anything to deserve better, but it probably does.
I've wanted to use it a few times, but never wound up doing it.
Not even Infinite Fusion put this thing on my team

Those are just FotM memes for marketing purposes. If Gen 1 was released today and they chose to reveal Seel early on it would be memed to high hell just like them, and then abandoned just as quickly because normalfags don't care beyond fitting in.

This was me and it literally just ended a run for me again. Was one battle away from getting a ribbon, came down to Suicune vs Dewgong, and I ran it out of Sheer Cold PP. Then it fucking used Horn Drill.
