Hi, i am thinking of returning to the games, havent played since gen 3.

Is Scarlet/Violet worth it? I am interested mainly in the online competitive aspect of it.
Does the online functions well? Such as trades and the Pokemon Bank i heard of.

Its hard to say. Scarlet and Violet are pretty controversial titles, the graphics aren't up to a lot of peoples standards, and little things like most building interiors are cut.etc But the core gameplay loop is pretty great and the fully 3D open world with roaming Pokemon is also great. I'd say if possible borrow a copy from someone and try it out for yourself and form your own opinions.
