It can be a good Mon, surprisingly decent special defense, and fast. Just give him some support moves and you're good. Leech seed, sleep powder, encore, screens, and U-turn. There's plenty he can do. It's just not going to be OHKOing much.

I found a Jumpluff in SV, got a Hoppip via Wonder Trade in Home and decided fuck it and transfered a shiny I had in GO and evolved it to Skiploom so I have all 3.

I was towards the end of high school when X/Y came out and Pokemon was starting to get popular again. People knew I liked Pokemon and was a bit of an autist about it back in the day and basically went through the Pokedex in order and got me to say what they evolved into (so they say Bulbasaur, I say Ivysaur and Venusaur, etc). We get to Gen 2 and it's pretty clear nobody's really played it, I go completely blank when they say Hoppip, even though I remember Jumpluff. Still annoys me like 10 years later so I've never forgotten Skiploom since.
