In the early days of both the internet and Pokemon, there were all sorts of simple Pokemon arcade-style Flash games made by fans.
I am trying to remember a specific one, and even though this is a long shot, I'll describe what I remember of it as best I can. This fan game would have been released inbetween the US releases of Gen 1 and Gen 2, probably closer to Gen 1. It would have been downloaded from a random Geocities or Angelfire website.
This game was a side-scrolling platformer with pixel sprite graphics. Each level you played as a different Pokemon. One level had a MIDI version of The Offspring's "Come Out and Play", another level had a MIDI version of the Mission Impossible theme.
If anyone knows what I am talking about or even remembers this era of Pokemon fan games, I love you.
