God that bloom and blur is fucking headache inducing. Why spritefags decided that this is the gold standard for sprite art is baffling to me, there are way better games to emulate.

It looks nice in Octopath, but Octopath's story and gameplay fits the artstyle. Pokemon has gone 3D, for better and mostly worse, so I don't think it's on the table for HD2D to come to Pokemon.
