Gators are quadrupeds, and personally, I hate it when starters go bipedal - it makes them go from a cool monster to looking like a fucking fur-suiter. The fire thing could've been improved if they pulled a Typhlosion and just made it flare up when he's fighting.

I only like quadruped starters when it being quadruped actually makes sense for its theme.

Venusaur being quadruped makes sense because the whole point of its design is the flower that grows on its back which wouldn't be easily visible if it was biped.
Torterra being quadruped makes sense because the whole point of the design is the landscape on its back which wouldn't be easily visible if it was biped.
Samurott being quadruped is fucking retarded and ruins the entire design because it makes its entire fighting style nonsensical.
