I get that Pokemon post-games are dog shit, but don't pretend you made it through 70 different battles and beat this bitch 2 times as a kid. Battle Frontier is RNG garbage.

The PWT is the Battle Frontier without the chaff.
Unless you really liked the Battle Pyramid, you're not missing much but gaining a lot.

Yes. Outspeed it, protect, use your other pokemon. It baffles me that things children did with a slight effort completely eclipse supposedly grown men trying the same. It's not like it required prodigious skills back then either. I had most silvers and a couple golds as a 10 year old. You guys are shit.

By "chaff" you mean all the challenge? Just having to do three fights isn't a worthwhile challenge. It's only praised because of the gym leaders who suck because monotypes will forever be a meme. A person who likes the PWT over the Frontier is not someone who actually values gameplay. Even the Subway is better than the PWT.

Spectacle is gameplay.
The BF is boring. It's tedious to get through, and having to fight RNG trainers is completely uninteresting and uninspiring.
The Battle Tower tends to be the place most people spend the most time, and it's a complete bore.

The PWT is quick, the sets are more interesting and thought out, and it has the inherent fun of fighting old bosses from B2/W2 and before.

There absolutely is.
Most people remember most of the gym leader matches from their playthroughs. And gym leader rematches from previous games were very welcome boss fights most players greatly enjoyed.
The PWT brings those all together.

I don't bother with it in Emerald because breeding in that game sucked ass. But now that we have good and accessible ways to build Pokemon, they've all but removed battle facilities. SV doesn't even have a battle tower.

From the perspective of a player that is experienced with the series, they are.
B2/W2 more than any other games at the time heavily reference the collective of the entire franchise before them.

PWT is the best postgame facility in gameplay. I've done all the gold symbols, gold prints, even got the Starf Berry in BW, but PWT is the best of them all
