There are comfy, wholesome threads from time to time. I've talked with some really chill and friendly anons. The plush threads, for example, can be cozy. Emphasis on the word "can" because sometimes an anon or two just can't resist bringing up how much they want to penetrate a certain plush, or nut all over its face, but it's 4chan... even the comfiest threads can take a hard turn off the deep end, lol.

The board would be slower but it'd have higher quality posts. And it'd mean threads don't get buried under all the horny and angry threads.
We were discussing contests earlier, but since it's a discussion which would naturally be slower the thread goes down and people don't see it as much. Many good threads suffer from this.

The only way to save these types of threads is basically have a couple anons (preferably in different time zones) check up on the thread every four hours or so and save it before it drops off. I'll sometimes jump to the bottom of the catalog when first coming on here to see if there are any wholesome/higher quality posts that need saving.

Not why they don't just hang out on /b/ or even /trash/ because they can post all the porn they want since it's a red board. Here anons constantly push up against the SFW/NSFW line with the art that gets posted, and while not all of it gets deleted, it still happens.
