First of all, these moves being wiped from their movesets aren't the same thing as the move being removed entirely from the game. It's not like Knock Off doesn't exist anymore, it's still in, Weavile just doesn't learn it. Secondly, SwSh actually had a perfectly acceptable way of handling this issue (no battle ready mark for transfer mons without moveset wiping) that would be more logical to use here. Third, PLA/BDSP had specific reasons for the moveset wiping, so it was SPECULATED, but wasn't a surefire thing if itd continue to other mainline games, as there was no precedent set. Fourthly, it's "just now become an issue" because it literally just happened for the first time. And no, BDSP's spaghetti code, and PLA's mid generational move additions dont count.
And lastly, and most importantly, even if it WAS an old issue, what the fuck does it matter? Dexit's an old issue, and it's still a shit decision that regularly and rightfully gets bitched about. So your comment is pointless.
