Same sort of situation as passing on Chesnaught the literal defender or Passimian which is literally a mon centered around team sports with balls.

Well, technically there's a chance to go SUPER gimmicky with Burmy. You could have the option to evolve into Wormadam or Burmy and also make it so your Wormadam form depends on which lane you're in. Just put in that little bit of effort for a wacky ass mon.
The only real issue is that the evos are male and female exclusive evos so Burmy having the choice to be either one would make some random guy on the internet really mad.

Bug has tons of options. You have Shuckle, Forretress, Yanmega, Wurmple with evo splits, a Volbeat/Illumise duo/puppet gimmick, Ninjask that could go in any fucking direction, the Burmy cloak-lane gimmick, Scolipede, Lokix, Rabsca, Volcarona/Slither, Vikavolt, the spiders (minus Araquanid since it got relegated to quick matches)
I just think the devs don't care about bugs

It's true that anyone can get in, but lately the game is heavily favoring popular Pokemon (Chadelure was the #1 most popular unovamon for example), Pseudo legends, starter Pokemon and Eevees. I'm a fan of whenever they do oddball picks but sadly we're getting less and less of those, so I made the list based off those kinds of specifications, I'm personally down for just about anything that isn't one of those aformentioned groups, I just wanted to look at Unova as a pokedex and see where they fell in as a group.

I dunno, I like the Watchog idea but if those other leaks are true then Inteleon is already anti-stealth, I guess Watchog could have some ability that lets it see way beyond a normal Pokemon's range and automatically react accordingly though, as well as Hypnosis for some CC, but Sableye does something similar with his orb move already.
For others like Cryo, I just envisioned him as A-Ninetales 2, or Beartic as Mamoswine 2, or Braviary as Talonflame 2, etc. (Talonflame really mogged any other avian Pokemon honestly). I will concede that I didn't think too hard about Pokemon I wasn't interested in though, but you'd need to try really hard to make me think something like Unfezant or Simisear can bring anything to the table.

Fuck I forgot about that shit. It feels like they just have ideas they want in the game and force them onto the Pokemon they want to add instead of using what's already there in a logical sense.
If Inteleon comes out with an ability that makes its attacks stronger when it's hidden instead of using something with Stakeout like Gumshoos the literal stakeout pokemon then I'll be the big sad.

That seems to be the case, they're making it so they take one bit of lore a Pokemon has and then making that their gameplay gimmick, which in turn kinda eliminates a potential niche another, less popular Pokemon could do. If it was only as simple as two Pokemon sharing a move, whatever, like every Water Pokemon in this game has Surf, right? But someone like Umbreon sporting self heals, traps and whatever the fuck else makes it hard for me to envision a Pokemon who has a similar toolkit but wasn't blessed with being an Eevee form getting into the game.

If you take a single camp you could potentially just lose the game. I understand many of you don't understand how these small things matter but if you prevent your jungler from hitting their power spikes and especially from hitting 9 by the time the first objective spawns you can just end up snowballing the enemy team. As they have their unite ready and can easily wipe your team since your jungler doesn't have his unite to sweep up their team.

What do you think happens to your lane now that the enemy team gets the first objectives uncontested?

I know you retards will argue all kinds stupid points but I'm just trying to demonstrate how you can quickly lose a match and snowball the enemy team by setting your carry behind in exp.

To add to this you should NEVER be taking camps from jungle before the first objective spawns. In fact you are giving up map pressure by even stopping to visit your jungle. When you stop to do this it means that the enemies in your lane can now score and take all of the farm in your lane uncontested, not only that your lane partner is now pressured harder because you are not there to help them.

Do NOT touch my jungle before 7m mark. Even then you shouldn't be taking jungle while I'm taking the objective. You should be farming your lane to prevent enemies from free farming or securing one of the objectives. When you clear my buffs, while I'm securing objectives, you are setting me back during my rotations to the other objective. Ideally I want to take bottom objective, rotate through my jungle or collapse on over extending enemies and finally make my way to the other objective. If you are taking my buffs I am falling behind as taking objectives are not a great source of individual experience. The only time you should really be clearing jungle is if you have a bad jungler who never clears it. Or MAYBE if I pull off a very successful jungle invade and secure both jungle buffs from the enemy side but Even then, you are removing a lot of experience that I can use to further extend the gap in experience between myself and the enemy jungler.

So I would be fine if you clear my jungle if I'm constantly on the enemies side of the map and never clearing but just because I'm currently securing an objective, or just because I killed the enemy jungler and took their buffs doesn't mean that you can set me behind by taking my experience. You can make counter points all you like but I highly doubt anyone here is a greater jungler than myself.

First of all, and? Second of all, they were never not huge, they heal great. Pretty much all the healers in this game give good heals, the problem with comfey is that it's single-target, like dedicated single target. Even a blissey can switch targets without having to detach from someone and use a separate move. Third of all, do you folks just not want healers in this game at all? That's what they do best - heal lmao

Water Pulse isn't good for it's damage, I mean its a function, but what makes water pulse good is how it gives lap its boosted auto which lets it heal, so you can chain 2 boosted autos for a ton of healing while also casting chunky AOE damage.

Nobody was using anything else because it was so good and it was banned in draft tourney repeatedly because no one wanted to deal with it. I agree about what it being attached to being a huge part of the problem and I wish they would have nerfed them they surely deserved it. That said I’m a support main and comfey being so good was bad for the game and supports as a whole.

Perish song gives you three boosteds, has good teamfight synergy with the chance to execute other bulky pokemon, and does good damage on its own, not to mention having three bursts.

Water pulse has greater chunk damage but less sustain and if you miss it you lose stacks

I get that timi is hyping up the eevee event but out of all the Eevees, glaceon was the 1 that was always doing well since launched for both its builds.
This buff to Icicle/shard feels like a unneeded buff similar to what absol got and then was hard nerfed. Timi will end up nerfing glaceon in the future and its Icicle/shard build will be worse then it is currently is now before this future buff drops.

Well, you see, back in the early days of this game the lane phase actually played out like it should and there weren't absurdly high early power spikes all over the place. Back then Jigglypuff was considered a god-tier lane bully.
Snorlax had the blessing of not needing to evolve, nothing to really contest Tackle outside of Lucario and a lack of power-creep meant it was actually difficult to take down. Snorlax was THE fat ugly bastard coming to cuck you by stealing your mobs.
Nowadays everything just walks past each other, stacks, evolves instantly and has their bullshit right off the bat. It sucks. Lane interactions may as well not exist.

Yeah It still has it's uses, but's very niche, the nerf with it's CD and invincibility window pretty much killed the move for him, but reducing the CD paired with Pyro Ball also reducing the CD even more might make it decent for spamming, especially for Unite Moves.

Because heavy slam at one point did actual damage and secured objectives, you could chain the stuns in block, and it healed so much during its unite it wasn't worth attacking.
Yawn also had the same issue as sing where hitting opponents didn't wake them up immediately, that was annoying
I wish Heavy Slam at least got the damage it dealt to wild pokemon reverted with how many mons are able to easily last hit things now.

see, the problem isn't not nerfing dog or bear specifically nor buffing goodra, cinderace, glaceon or not nerfing lapras enough
at least they're nerfing comfey
cinderace and glaceon will now help keep zacian and bear in check
scizor will now compete with them too
and goodra and lapras will keep helping countering them
this is the direction they're going

the main problem with that is powercreep, ie not nerfing other old mons like Cram, Tsareena and Crustle, just to name a few

Crustle used to be good at scoring goals, securing objectives with Stealth Rock, and generally being annoying.
It was like Greedent before Greedent came in, only it lacked in real offense outside of X-Scissor which had a long as fuck cooldown.
At one point Azumarill was a really good lvl 4 monster that would bully lanes for free and snowball games to the point of no return.
Then they nerfed Water Pulse and it hasn't been the same since.
Garchomp just gets kited for all eternity, lol.

Anon, I say this as a safeguard blissey player since her release, but safeguard is not worth it right now. Losing the unstoppable status with the shield means it can only last 0.01 seconds with how much damage is getting shit out constantly. It has no place in the burst meta.

I've just been losing all day.
Not even cuz of bad teammates.
We just lose Rayquaza every single time.
Whether it be through losing the fight itself or the enemy rips Fug in like five seconds despite us wailing on them and then they get big fat shields and win.

oh shit, I used to stack on cinderace, I only play pyro ball cinder, but usually in jungle, and I stopped stacking when rapid fire scarf came out. Now I'm thinking if anything I switch muscle band out to try stacking again and now the question is do I keep X Attack for more attack speed and damage or pop on an eject button/x speed for mobility in conuunction with flame charge to maybe get some of those stacks? alternatively I'm sure rapid muscle and scope are still pretty good items for cinderace even without the stacking as pyro ball's base overall damage is buffed
