I had 2 DSs for some reason so trading with myself wasn't an issue. I usually urge my friends to keep up with pokemon too so we can trade and stuff.
>>53788389used in platinum. He is a tank that can learn tons of useful coverage moves to cover team weaknesses. something like hyperbeam, thunderbolt, ice beam. He ended up being the star of my run and all the gym battles came down to him outlasting the opponent. versatile and lovable, I'd use him in other generations but I have no idea how to get one in gens 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, etc. The idea of eviolite p2 is super cool too so any time I start a game i look up if its possible to get one thru traditional gameplay but it never is. So I see why people dont use him, and porygon 1 sucks at everything usually
>>53794326Used kingdra in battle revolution online, Omega Ruby, and Crystal Clear. one of my all time favorite pokemon. It is a tank, and like porygon2, has only one predictable weakness making it a great pivot in your team. Hits decently hard. I highly recommend him but be warned his greatest strength is his typing, he doesnt hit as hard as some bulky water types that you might be used to using. For the thread I offer up SEADRA. I know NonFullyEvolveds shouldnt count, but RBY and FRLG treat them as a legitimate choice in water type and its just so outclassed by every other watertype in the game. A shame because I'm often tempted to play with edgy retro kingdra since I really like the line. Probably one of the most forgettable Gen 1 pokemon since hes overshadowed by his evo and pre-evo.
Never used anything else in the thread. I bet nobody used WATCHOG but let me know if I'm wrong
