The elites of this world do have secretive meetings, but as for the weird ritualistic gatherings, it's more than likely hedonistic orgies and networking, a convention, essentially. I havent been to them so I can't say for sure if they do or don't drink blood, so I'm careful as to how I interpret and speak about those circles, but they're all highly connected, suspicious individuals regardless of any supernatural rituals or connections to God(s) or demons.
