I just realized that the reason why they removed the ability to disable battle animations in SV is so the raids wouldn't desync
and the raids STILL desync all the time

They could've just forced animations in raids and leave the player to choose whether they want them in regular battles. This company is so backwards it baffles me. And the pedophile menchildren who defend them are even worse.

This you can have battle animations off in SwSh and the online raids will still have the animations.

You could blame Sv raids for the lack of good animations though because the raid timer doesn't want any long ones playing out

Legends Arceus also lacked the option to disable battle animations and that has no raids. Is it because battles now take place in the overworld rather than a separate location or how animations were done for certain moves in PLA? Both sound like terrible excuses.

It probably would've involved a new implementation instead of just porting over old work
