Why was there no evolution in this game? The best part of the first game was interacting with Pokemon in specific ways to make them evolve and get a rare shot of their evolved form. Like luring Slowpoke to the Shellder fishing spot, or knocking Charmeleon into the volcano. That was awesome, it made the world feel so alive. Why get rid of that?
