Yeah that's why I didn't buy it. Why buy a reskin of something I already own? Remakes used to serve a purpose but unless they are heavily discounted compared to new games they are a fucking scam

friend areas get old after the novelty wears off. I don’t want to go to 4 different areas and find a specific pokemon walking around in a corner and have to walk back out dodging the rest of the pokemon bodyblocking me whenever I want to change my team around

They also forced party exp share without changing the level scaling through the map, so you blow through the whole game effortlessly. Until you get to the E4 with their newly max EV trained pokemon which was pretty fun desu. Also you can't turn amie off which is another factor making the game even easier.

DX had its pros & cons. Whilst I feel like the original has a bit more charm than the remake however I won't deny the additions that really did add to the gameplay.

The removal of the basic attack is fine as you get way more move variety and PP.

Bosses been buffed was a needed addition. Some dungeons been shortened was a bit off.
