This is great for design as it helps out many, many weaker Pokemon that can now use their dominant stat, potentially leveling out the field between them and the top tiers that already had most, if not all, of the tools they needed to be good. Gengar still hits like a truck, but now it'll be using Poison and Ghost moves instead of Thunderbolt, Ice Punch, Hidden Power Grass, and Fire Punch.
