Supports the idea of a fun spinoff game but it's ugly. And the story is shit, the characters are shit meh. Gameplay is fun though, again feeling a bit like a beta. If they removed the sneaseler for climbing and had more physic based gameplay like rolling rocks, climbing walls yourself making traps instead of just Throw ball X 100 then I think it could have been better. I often compare the map design to monsterhunter. Monsterhunter world is very compact with lots of stuff, built vertically. Where as MHrise is very plain vast open fields of fuck and all. They should have shrunk the map size by half, and pact it more vertically. Replace the hm pokemon with just gliders and climbing claws tools.
Let's go is the best looking pokemon game. But it's also got the problem of being 1-1 of a fucking gameboy game. If they would have rebuilt the world from scratch and add an actual battle system to wild pokemon it could have been something special.
SwSh is Mediocre, and cutting the dex will always knock it down a bunch. They also started the shitty trend of the open world unity asset flips.
The gameplay is ok, and I really enjoy hop. But it's one of the worst.
SV Has great potential. But the open world seems more like a beta test for something else, they even have a stupid physics puzzle for some reason that's not shown up anywhere else. The only areas that will be remembered from that game is the school and maybe area zero. Removed character customisation to which is ass.
BDSP It's a game. Not exactly anything to write home about the upgraded underground was a double sided sword. I like they added more pokemon options by going to the wild area but I hate that they removed hidden bases for shitty statue collections.
