Why the fuck was IV inheritance implemented in such a stupid useless way in Gen 3? I simply cannot comprehend what must have been going through their arcane minds when coding this. Even when breeding with 2 hacked perfect IV Pokémon (yes, hacked. You are NOT going to have a legit 6IV Pokémon in 3rd Gen) it is practically mathematically impossible to get another. And I’m not even trying to get that! I just want two perfect ivs inherited from a Pokémon I caught with awesome IVs and the wrong abilities and even that is too much to ask for! Like, what even is the point?

Even resorting to RNG timer shenanigans is a load of shlock because the extreme nanosecond precision that is required! Thank god they fixed this shit in later gens, but GameFuckers was too lazy to port the emerald battle frontier over to there so I’m stuck in this purgatory
