Having something in the game change depending on battery levels sounds like a fun idea, but I wouldn't exactly put it on a move or ability that can be used in competitive multiplayer. Maybe something like a mini-game or an evolution requirement would do, but we all know what happened the last time we had fun evolutions and moves based on hardware features.

make throwing toxic spikes poison/badly poison the target as well (depending on layers), and sticky web should lower speed of the opponent. I don't think that the move is OP considering that in no standard match will your opponent bring every single entry hazard to a match, nevermind them get them all off. I just want a Fire coverage move that Grass types can generally learn. Every Fire type gets Solarbeam and Energy Ball, Grass Knot and Trailblaze go crazy, let's have Solar Flare or something.

Friendly Slap
The base power changes based on the number of friends you AND your opponent have on the switch. If the sum of friends is even it's base power is 150, if odd it's 60. It has to be super strong so people consider using it.
Make competitive players scout the room and add and delete friends in an attempt to gain an advantage.

Works like Baton Pass, except the stats given are based on the real world age of the Pokémon that uses it. For example: A Pikachu caught in 1996 would give a +6 boost to 3 stats, while a Pikachu caught in 2023 would give a +1 boost to one stat. Because I think it would be funny, let's also make the stats it boots determined via IVs, like Hidden Power.

The main angles for giving the smegmon devs a headache would probably be:

They'd either have to ban the move, randomize it, or allow you to choose the BP/type/effect/etc. variant manually (which might remove an element of surprise, element of prebattle strategy, or some other aspect that will change the nature of the move)
OR they'll have to add some mandatory dropdown menu to choose what you set the value for regarding game mechanic the move is based on, on a per-pokemon, per-team, or at least per-player basis
All of these options would piss at least SOME showdown users off, especially if the move is learnable by lots of pokemon or sees lots of use in the ingame meta
