I still say that it's unlikely Twinz was ever meant to be Girafarig's pre-evo. There were graphics of a smaller giraffe mon, and most of the evolution data was unfinished.
I also refuse to believe that pic related was meant to be normal/dark.

A pair of ghost blobs becoming a two-headed giraffe is pretty far-fetched. Maybe that's why it ended up being cut, but I'm not entirely sold on that idea. The typing alone is a big indicator there.
