I'll share my idea. Mine is a Sun Wukong expy. Fighting type of course.

i like skull creatures but i also really like the middle stage as it's own seprate design
there seriously is no reason for this thing to have a cocoon for a middle stage if it still looks consistent with it's first stage

I always have the same idea for a non-dragon pseudo, Fire/Poison or Fairy/Poison manticore. Maybe both typings, changing typing and stats with gender.

But for a dragon pseudo, it would be Dragon/Bug for me, specifically based on the spotted apatelodes moth, pic related. I imagine a dragon-like head on the tail that performs the attacks, whereas the actual head just glares.
