Anyone else sensing a shift in the general attitude in the wider Pokémon community? Not just on here, /vp/ has always been a pessimistic shithole. I mean on spaces that have an actual influence, like Twitter and Reddit. It really feels like many people are starting to wake up to this bullshit. Even if it's a decade too late, it's still better than nothing. Between the absolute disaster that has been SV's reception, Switch games' user review scores, and stuff like Dexit and all of HOME's issues, it feels like GAME FREAK/TPCI are finally starting to see the consequences of their laziness, greed and incompetence in the last few years. If they do not start getting their shit together, or at least put out some kind of statement to just address the state of the franchise, I think people are just going to snap and the majority opinion will suddenly turn negative and it will blow up in GAME FREAK/TPCI's face.
