>>53827750>RosterAllow every mon to be transferred in even if they’re not all obtainable. Doesn’t have to be on launch. You could even ban transferred guys from competitive if it’s that big of a deal.
>GameplaySV is a good start, just have level scaling so you can actually do the gyms in any order. We don’t need crafting or quests, don’t “fix” what was never broken.
>Battle SystemAgain, don’t fix what isn’t broken. Drop lame gimmicks like Z Moves, Dynamax, Terastal, etc and rework Mega Evolutions into part of a more expansive item system like any legendary form change or Castform or whoever.
>MapAdd more biodiverse areas. Every region doesn’t need a desert, a snowy mountain, a beach, etc. Bringing back the season system from Gen 5 and reworking the weather spawn concept from Gen 8 would be a good place to start.
>BalanceNo hope for that one, the nature of such an ongoing series prevents any true form of balance. The only options here really are to keep things going as they have been (which I don’t think is too bad), continually tweak Pokemon based off the meta (which is what any normal game would do), or start imposing weirder stricter rules for competitive/online play (not out of the question)
>Additional featuresSafari Zone, Battle Frontier, Berry Gardening, PWT, Soaring, Diving, Friend Safari, Apricots & Ball Makers, and more fun transportational stuff like the Mantine Surfing in USUM or the cabs or roller skates in X and Y. There ya go. You can even segregate the big ones to some postgame island. Take any time that would go into new mechanics or “innovation” and spend it polishing up the graphics, performance, and optimization.
